The Brief “Story” of the Origins of Our Design The drop of water that fell from the heavens poured forth across the desert of Qatar and left a deep lake between two dunes. Thereupon, the desert turned green and life was born in the depths of the lake: A plant, similar to a cactus flower, which closes protectively against the sun during the day and does not open itself (up) to inquisitive visitors until the shadows of the night fall.
