The high-tech optical effect of the large-scale lightweight construction building with its steel suspension construction corresponds entirely to the manufacturing methods of the company. The new production workshop is connected to the administration building by a railway underpass. A Workshop without Pillars The request from the client was that a workshop was constructed for the production of his checkout and control systems that was as free of pillars as possible. The architects came up with an unusual solution: A steel suspension construction, which spans an area of 2500 sq m as a lightweight construction. In this way, a construction was found for which the only structural requirement was a single pillar in the centre and which, over and above that, is also very interesting from an economical point of view.
